MSU maintains a set of university graduation requirements, commonly referred to as general education. The Office of Undergraduate Education ( Undergrad Ed) collaborates with the units who support these requirements, specifically the Integrative Studies Centers, in terms of the review, assessment, and educator development within the Centers.
In addition, Undergrad Ed provides consultation to academic programs seeking alternative university requirements, as well as approval for academic advisors seeking waivers, accommodations, and substitutions related to university graduation requirements.
